Madea's Big Happy Family (2011)
Have you ever ventured into the West End or Broadway? Then you might have seen the stage production of Madea's Big Happy Family; this is a great stage show that you could've seen. Not many stage shows make it big when it comes to its stars but this has everything that you want.
You have got a little bit of comedy, a little bit of drama and a lot of everything else rolled into this but altogether this makes a great combination and brings out a fantastic film this year.
It is not easy making your name on stage and then on the picture and it is harder to try to make your show go from a stage production to the highest it can be and be a hit but this is the one that makes it.
It has a little singing, some dancing and a lot of comedy and moving scenes with this movie. This is definitely one of those who love a good drama and comedy in one.
Tyler Perry brought this from the small stage right to the theatre in which he stars as the lead role of Madea’s as well as Joe; don’t get confused it’s very easy to understand. He is a man playing a woman and a man.
He has a niece Shirley who gets bad news about her health and she wants her family to know and cope with everything together. That is not the easy part, her three kids all have problems with their lives and families that is where Perry comes in, and his character is the one responsible for getting everyone back together.
You get some moving scenes; some funny moments with a lot of family pride combined makes this a great movie today.
