Submarine (2011)
There are many reasons why you must see different movies and one of them is entertainment. However, there is also the issue of the quality of a film where you feel that you relate to it in a certain way. If a movie has been ingeniously directed and produced, the quality shines through and that is what happens with Submarine. Here, it recalls some treacherous parts played by the character and the main star Oliver, things that even a 20 year old or a thoroughly year old would find too treacherous. Of course, when a story relates to people in a certain direct way, then it becomes an instant hit.
Released in the UK on 18 March, this picture is indeed a success. Even its trailers create ripples in the market. So far, it has really taken the UK market by storm and what's more, from the user reviews posted on the internet, the Americans can hardly wait for its release into their theaters. Of course, another way of measuring a film's success is by watching the market.
The plot is simple, yet complicated at the same time. This is the story of young Oliver Tate, a boy who only has two ambitions for the year. One of them is to lose his virginity before his next birthday, and reconcile his parents to be together in love once more. He forges love letters from his mom to dad. After he suspects that his mother is having an affair with a new age weirdo Graham, he monitors his parents' sex life by charting the dimmer switch in their bedroom. Will young Oliver Tate succeed? Of course, you will only know if you watch it.
Cast: Craig Roberts, Noah Taylor, Sally Hawkins, Paddy Considine
