The trailers for the Super 8 movie say it all… This story will really make your summer different. It has that intricate mastery that you must have witnessed in other Spielberg productions before it. However, this time round, Spielberg, the sci-fi genius is not in the hot seat. Rather, he is the producer. If you have been looking for fun in horrific horror, please do not look elsewhere because it is right here with us. You will never regret taking your time to be at the theater on 10 June 2011. The year 2011 has been a year of great releases every time, almost every month. However, the greatest ones have been about drama and comedy. Good thing is that now the freak film lovers have their delight.
A group of young friends are out in the night filming a zombie picture of their own when a freak train accident occurs. A speeding train collides with a truck and the train derails, overturns and bursts into flames. And then as if it could not get worse for the friends who witness the accident, something so horrible gets out of the train, right out of the flames. From then on, life in the little town in Ohio is never the same again as people start disappearing mysteriously. When the Deputy investigates, he comes across something so horrible, utterly beyond human imagination.
What was made to look like a train accident was no accident at all, as people will later learn, however, the big time question is just what is this that is so horrific that the deputy uncovers? Where have the people of the town been disappearing to so mysteriously almost into thin air? Of course, you will never know unless you make a point of watching this picture.
