Thor (2011)
Two worlds. One hero.
Why are you alive? What is the purpose of being vital? those are among the questions that will be ranging in your mind as you watch the movie which premiers in India on 29 April 2011 and in the US theaters in may 6 2011. Here is a great movie that is going to be released in 3D and 2D. It is not about humor, but it teaches you a moral lesson and that is why I am saying that it will evoke strange questions in your mind.
One of the gods has fallen from grace and has been banished to the earth to stay with human beings. He must take his lesson from living among strangers. Although it is supposed to be a comic/drama, the truth is that this story keeps you glued to your seat sending different lessons to you. The plot is simple, and so is the storyline. Thor is a mighty god who lives in Asgard. He is the mighty warrior and he is also the god of thunder. When his pride and actions reignite a forgotten and buried war in Asgard, his father Odin, who is the king of the gods banishes him, in anger, to the earth which is far away, he must now live with human beings.
While Thor is on the earth trying to live and cope with people, a villain from the world organizes his dark forces to come and conquer earth. The humans would not know how to fight against the divinities and this is where he must make the first stand of his life. He now has to fight, not only because he was a mighty warrior, but because he is now fighting for a cause. Who else will stand against this dark villain and his dark forces and save the earth? In this war, he must learn what it takes to be a true hero of the divinities and the people.
Cast: Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins
